Untitled, 100 x 80 cm (or: "3, Red")

Yet another one ready …

Untitled, 100 x 80 cm

One of the paintings that will be on show in less than a month, at Galleri Lisse Bruun. Haven't come up with a title yet, although "3" may be an option …

Work(s) in progress

Getting closer to a series of paintings that will fill the gallery from August 20. Oh, and that corner of the studio is beginning to look a little small …

Italy's Finest

Back from a week in hot hot Venice, Italy, with my newest aquisition: A sparkling yellow, genuine Ferrari fountain pen! It easily outshines the joy of the 53rd International Art Exhibition – aka La Biennale di Venezia, which was, sad to say, a bit disappointing this year. Or maybe I'm getting too old to really understand all those artificial, superficial installations that need the 1200 words of a very important curator to reach the audience (me). What happened to the good old art, where you could immediately and instinctively sense the presence of a live artist behind the works? Hmm. I'll post examples later. In the meantime, enjoy the little yellow lightning here. I've already tested it thoroughly – it's as good for drawing as it is for writing!

Exhibition website up and running

Finally! I got the small introduction to the solo show at Galleri Lisse Bruun up and running today, complete with downloadable press kit (photos and a cool text by Lisbeth). Check it out at pryds.com/lisse09 – and get some idea about what to see in the gallery.
__Oh, and did you notice? I finally settled for the design of the poster for the exhibition. Looks good, I think (even though 'September' is a hell of a long word…)

Updated: bkf.dk and pryds.com

Just added new pictures to pryds.com and bkf.dk. The "Art Gallery" section of my website now holds a total of 114 examples of paintings and collages, and my profile on the artists' portal bkf.dk has a few new images as well. Remember – you can find other artists on bkf.dk as well!

Ready to hang

Collage works for one wall are mounted, framed and ready for my exhibition in Galleri Lisse Bruun in mid August. Nine small pieces, here on the floor of the studio, now I only need to finish the large paintings for the rest of the walls. They will be soon (they have to). Stay tuned…

Plakat til separatudstillingen ? Version 3

Så er der et nyt udkast til plakat. Forenklet endnu mere, titlen ligeså, meget mere maleri. Det bliver sgu svært at beslutte sig.
Sammenlign med Version 1 og Version 2

Plakat til separatudstillingen ? Version 2

On the cover –

– of the Rolling Stone? Well, not quite, but my pretty face is on the cover – of todays' issue of 24timer. A staged photo for a story about drinking problems, and how you can help collegues who have them. Read it online here – or pick up your copy today at the nearest train station.

PS. I took off my glasses, so my Mum wouldn't recognize me.
PPS. It's actually only water (it is!) in that bottle, and I had to swallow almost half a litre, before the photo was in the box.
