My all time favourite brush – a 3" flat one I bought 26 years ago (!) at a graphics course I took at Kunsthøjskolen, Holbæk – was finally replaced today. Heavy usage in preparing for my solo exhibition at Lisse Bruun's in a few weeks was too much, apparently, for the old boy – the hairs started falling out, not one by one, but all at once. So I had to spend 59 DKK on a new one, almost the same shape and size. Hope this will be as good as the old one. Found it in the Flügger paint shop at Frederiksberg, the one with the great basement filled with tools and cool stuff for artists. It's amazing how much you can find down there … Check it out – Gl. Kongevej 148, or kunstnerfarver.dk
