The people behind slideshare.net – the online place to share your pdf and PowerPoint presentations – has announced the winner of the 2008 ”World’s Best Presentation Contest”.
__The winner, Jeff Brenman, took home a MacBook Air for ”Thirst” – a simple yet powerful story in 65 slides which he describes as an ”educational presentation exploring humanity’s water use and the emerging worldwide water shortage”.
__The 2008 contest attracted 2,415 entries and over 22,000 votes from voters in 130 countries. The judges were four industry luminaries: Guy Kawasaki, Nancy Duarte, Garr Reynolds and Bert Decker.
